Mrs. Neuenschwander
Hello! My name is Suzie Neuenschwander and I am beyond excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year! This is my first year at Bill Burden and my seventeenth year teaching. I have a deep passion for teaching and feel honored to be a part of your child’s learning career!
I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from Texas A&M University and began teaching immediately in Bryan-College Station. After two years, I relocated to the Austin area where I met my husband, who also graduated from Texas A&M University. We have been married 13 years and have two children, Kade (6th grader) and Koby (3rd grader). Our family loves to kayak, hunt, fish, camp, hike, arrow head hunt, and play sports. We have a five month old black lab puppy named Tracker, 7 year old Australian Sheppard and Blue Heeler rescue dog named Shadow, 21 year old cat named Tallica, two parakeet birds named Belle and Yoni, one bearded dragon named Sandy, and some fish. We lived in the Pflugerville area for the past 15 years and have recently relocated to Liberty Hill. We feel fortunate to be a part of the Liberty Hill culture and feel at home already!
I believe parents are vitally important in education and work hard to keep an open dialogue between parents, students, and myself at all times. I look forward to going into more depth on subjects, expectations, and other routines during Open House in September. If you have any questions before that date, please feel free to contact me (information below). I strive to check email regularly; this is typically the best way to contact me. If you have urgent information, such as a change in transportation, please contact the front office at 512-260-4400. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
